A huge part of what we missed during lockdown was being able to go out for dinner a couple of times a month to our favorite little places.
We rarely go anywhere fancy, but the time away from the house and the noise gives us the ability to focus on each other. It is some special “us” time in a crazy world.
A couple of weeks ago we went to our tiny local pizza and sandwich shop. We had had takeout and delivery a few times in the past months, but this was the first time we had been back to sit and enjoy some time and some wonderful food.
And wine.
Time with my favorite person is the perfect way to spend a Wednesday night.
