Crossing the Line

It’s that look in your eyes that does it. It gives you away every time. I’ve explained it before, but we can be out and about, at a restaurant, at a bar, just walking around, exploring. It doesn’t really matter what’s going on – but I can look over and see that look – it’s all about being in that playful mood.

Depending on the situation, that can be a kid around thing, or it can be a “batten down the hatches” thing where I know things could get really edgy in a very short amount of time.

Control Takes Many Forms

Perhaps not an explicit “fantasy” type of post, but the whole control thing has been one of the more intriguing (and hard to figure out at times) aspects of having a D/SFLR relationship.  It’s oddly a button for me, and it’s a button for Charmer – at opposing ends of the spectrum of course, so it’s been important to figure out.

No Flashlights!

It’s late and we’re wandering around, just taking in the incredible weather, chatting, playfully grabbing at each other as we go.  It’s so dark it’s spooky, but I guess that’s a good thing; it’s Halloween!  The different yard decorations, or at least those that are still lit at this early morning hour, are such fun to look at and as we’re wandering you keep teasing and I keep grabbing and in no time we’re both a hot mess of wanting to call it quits, but wanting it to go on for a bit as well… the tease is delicious.

Blind Sensations

So, here’s the deal…” she says with that grin.  “With it being Halloween, we’re going to play a game with a mask so you can earn some additional play time…

My head: “whut?”

I should know better.  It’s just not ever simple.  She starts telling me what we’re doing – but I lose track because she’s coming at me with that full bondage hood mask we picked up a while ago.  It’s one of those stretchy, blindfold embedded, ear-muffling, fully head-covering masks.  I’m lost in the whole WTF of the situation.  Finally, I think to ask –

“Say what?!”

…and Pause.

It’s a weird place to be, in that aftermath zone.  It’s weird, but it’s magic too.  When you’re spent, you’re allowing your mind to just be blank.  If you let your mind wander and think whatever it’ll think, it wanders to your body.  Your experiences.  Those sensations just experienced.

Healing Waters

The prompt today is essentially “heal.”  We’re on a mini-vacation to the coast for a couple of days on the front end of a family trip – and as I was sitting here, peering out the windows at the grand sight below, I could just feel the harsher stuff of life peeling off.

When Stuff Gets Real, It Takes a Team

I often have regrets after play time.  But not maybe what you’d think.  I often want more.  I wanted to give more.  I have a lot of “that wasn’t so bad, now was it?  Why’d you struggle with it so?”

You know this.  You know it takes challenging not limits that are set between us, but limits in my head.  You’ve done it many times.  You’ve shown that there’s nothing to fear… well, ok.  Fear is good at times, it’s all a part of it.  But nothing to mortally worry about anyway.

15 minutes.

Have you ever wondered if you could maintain something for 15 minutes if the stakes were high enough, that you weren’t used to lasting that long unrelentingly?  How’s that for a question?

Well, I’ve thought about it.  I mean, not unprompted, of course.  The prompting comes from you…

You sit down, cozying up next to me with this grin on your face.  “We’re going to give you a test today!” is how you open the challenge.  “Do you have a favorite metronome speed?

Release Now

It’s another night of the game, that for some reason I seem to draw edging a lot,  and tonight is another bout of it.  These are all about almost performing the edging and I go into this all, well, cocky.  Feeling like it’ll be nice and fun and easy and…

But that would be too easy…

It’s been a really long day and as we’re just sitting chatting, you keep talking, but stand up and do this extremely slow, deliberate undressing.  If you were only listening to what’s going on, you’d not even realize something had changed; you keep up the conversation, you keep asking questions, the whole bit.

But if I stop to watch, or make any indication that I “notice” (puhleaze, not something I will miss), you stop and just look at me until it’s back to normal. Then you move forward… button by agonizing button.  Untucking, undressing, even throwing in some gyrating…

Wicked Wednesday: The Foreplay Masquerade Ball

You straighten my tie, patting down the lapels of my jacket… then stand back and grin.  It gives me a chance to take you in – very simple, very sleek formal gown and high heels, a fantastic silver necklace that plunges down the open cleavage showing through the drape of your dress.  As I stand there, taking you in, you’re doing the same to me, making sure everything is just so.

…and you’re wearing those boxer briefs I put out for you too, right?” finally punches through my fog.  “Yes.  Although I don’t know what that has to do with anything.”  You had been very specific about clothes, and very tight-lipped about where we’re going.

You’ll see.  You do need to read the rules first though.

Rules?

Shhhhh… just read.”  It looks like a formal invitation, envelope and all…

Wicked Wednesday: Curtains

The storm blowing through is one of those that the rain isn’t constant, the wind is gusty but not obnoxious and the smells of the storm are almost as “loud” as the thunder and rumbling from the storm itself.  It’s a wonderful summery storm and it’s otherwise pitch black outside.  Every now and then the lightning explodes across the sky, lighting everything up.

From my office, I have my french doors mostly closed to the rest of the house, but we have opened windows and doors everywhere we can to let the storm have its way with the house.  My doors have these light, wispy curtains on them, you can see through them in just the right light.

I’m working, but we have lights out so we can enjoy the storm.  I kick back and look up just as a flash blows through the house and I see you out the other room, sideways, but slouched a bit in that leather chair.  Something about that posture…

Wicked Wednesday – Conviction

“Dom-space” has always been a fascinating thing to me.  Everyone always focuses on sub-space, that floaty, other-worldly feeling that you can get to if the stars align, if you jump around just so on your left foot and if you chase it down and allow it in.

When you settle in for impact play, it’s extremely challenging to be able to give responses, give control, let the impacts roar through you.  Each time there is a smack or the ends of the flogger make contact, or the crop bites into you, there is an instant connection between you and the Dominant partner.
