Growing up in Colorado, wilderness was never that far away. We could go to the mountains and be away from people and civilization pretty easily. After we moved to Tucson, there still is a certain amount of that with the surrounding mountain ranges.
Continue reading “W is for Wilderness”Whispers in the Dark
We’re laying there, just listening to the dark around us. I can hear the rain on the roof (a rarity and amazing) and the winds howling outside off and on. I also hear far-distant thunder. It’s that rolling kind that’s just fun to listen to, not violent, not jolting, just almost like a drummer with a massive kettle drum of some sort playing a random tune.
I hear you whisper to me…

This week we start lessons with an additional dance instructor. Her specialty is Argentine Tango and we are going to start putting together a new solo routine with her.
Continue reading “T is for Tango”F is for Fireworks
On the last day of Fireworks month, I thought I’d share a picture of the last time I saw them live. Not including the neighborhood ones that I think are simply to scare my cats to death.

Could someone hand me a towel?
Continue reading “W is for Wet”A is for August Prompt
August in Arizona is when school starts again. I know it seems really early for a lot of places, but it is what it is.
Continue reading “A is for August Prompt”B is for Bluetooth
You always listen to music or audiobooks while you are in the shower. This morning, I decide to take advantage of the fact that your volume is turned up and play with you a bit.
Continue reading “B is for Bluetooth”S is for Shadow
The bar had been playing their favorite music last night and they had stayed a lot longer than they had anticipated. Luckily it was Sunday and they had no plans until dinner.
Continue reading “S is for Shadow”R is for Relax
The world is a crazy place and sometimes it is just nice to have a moment of peace and quiet. To enjoy nature and the sun.
Continue reading “R is for Relax”T is for Toad
The other night we were coming home late from the airport. Monsoon storms had passed through earlier and there was still a little residual lightning over to the west.
Continue reading “T is for Toad”B is for Bikini
Nothing like a bikini with a little animal print to bring out the animal in Snake….
Continue reading “B is for Bikini”S is for Stars
The day had been too hot to do the hike we had wanted to do so we had spent the entire day in front of the TV instead of the date we had planned.
Continue reading “S is for Stars”T is for Tentacles
Not porn. Not my thing and I don’t have any idea what I would write about it.
Continue reading “T is for Tentacles”F… Fine, be late. Not.
You’re in the front room, singing. It’s that Foreigner song – I hear you, just perfectly on tune. “I’ve been waiting… for a boy like you…” you’re singing. I call across the house and correct you – “it’s ‘waiting for a girl like you…” I tell you. “You’re not REALLY correcting me, are you?” you say back.
Continue reading “F… Fine, be late. Not.”O is for Oregon
We have family in Portland so we usually are there 4 times a year or so. Last year was definitely an exception, but we are there right now.

I’m quite lucky to have an on-site expert to do my mani/pedi appointments once a week. He just happens to also be my sexy Snake.

Another angle of one that I shared a couple of weeks ago. Love the straps and the details of them.
Continue reading “X is for X Marks the Spot”E-Stim… Electricity, and Me.
We’ve played a bit with e-stim before. I got frustrated at the lack of control a bit, and not being able to get to “too much!” in the use of it. I always tend to seek out that line – the too-much-line – so you know what the full range is that you have to explore.
SO, I went on a hunt. Find a different machine, different approach, and try, try again.
And I did. We did. And we found that line…
Continue reading “E-Stim… Electricity, and Me.”P is for Pervert
What is a pervert? The stereotype is the flasher in the park or something similar and seems to indicate someone who is creepy.
Continue reading “P is for Pervert”A is for Anniversary
There’s not a cloud in the sky as they walk through the park. It’s a perfect day for a picnic. Or, at least, it would be if the temperatures weren’t so high. There’s not even a breeze to cool things down a bit.
Continue reading “A is for Anniversary”L is for Lazy Saturday
Sometimes there are the errands to run and the chores to get finished. Other weekends are quiet and made for relaxing.

It’s been a long couple of months. She feels like they were chained to work and there was barely enough time to sleep, let alone do anything more.
Continue reading “F is for Flying”H is for Hide and Seek
The castle is old. Really old. And definitely had seen better days. But it seemed like a good place to stop for a picnic lunch before we headed on.
