It’s bizarre to look back at the time with This Thing We Do (TTWD). It’s been a handful of years now (my own 7r Twitter-versary came up) and I was going back through our posts and journals to each other. But also, it’s been about changing as we go forward.

Why do secrets draw us in so much? There’s this sense that we don’t know a person unless we know their secrets.

There is nothing so stable as change.

I have a lot of regrets. Didn’t expect that from Charmer, did you?

It was date night and he had chosen a movie. She always loved going to the movies, especially the new theatre that had booze and unlimited popcorn with recliners.

I don’t do “ambition” well. Somewhere in my brain, ambition got connected with being obsessed with money and careers. Yes, I know, those aren’t the only options, but it is what it is.

We have a lot of stuff. Slowly the last few years we’ve been cleaning out, but there is still too much.

I crave silence in life. I was always the kid who had to have quiet to study. If I’m reading, I don’t want music in the background. When I work or write, I rarely am listening to anything.

You always listen to music or audiobooks while you are in the shower. This morning, I decide to take advantage of the fact that your volume is turned up and play with you a bit.

Not porn. Not my thing and I don’t have any idea what I would write about it.
