The line between want and need is blurry at best. Most of the time I think the line wanders between the two and sometimes they are the same thing.

What an overwhelming subject to write about…. What gives me pleasure? So many things.
Continue reading “P is for Pleasure”D is for Dolly
As I was thinking about people who had influenced me, a woman who was housebound when I was a pre-teen always comes to mind.
Continue reading “D is for Dolly”M is for Margarita
We got to go to Portland about a week and a half ago–literally just before restaurants were going to shut down again for indoor dining.
Continue reading “M is for Margarita”S is for Snake
On the first day of my people who influenced me month, I have to choose Snake. Partly because he’s my person, duh, but also because his birthday is tomorrow.
Continue reading “S is for Snake”D is for Drip
You can tell when it is getting warm outside when you start getting that little drip off your glass….
Continue reading “D is for Drip”M is for May Prompt
While flowers might be one of the first things you think about when you think about May, we’ve had them here for two months. By the end of May they are all starting to droop in our heat, not to return until the summer monsoons.
Continue reading “M is for May Prompt”F is for Flowers
Spring has been in full bloom (pun intended) here for over a month. In fact, by the end of May, most of the plants will be holding their collective breath until monsoons hit.
Continue reading “F is for Flowers”S is for Social Media
As I’ve written before, I’m not a terribly social person. I am an introvert and too many people are just not my thing.
Continue reading “S is for Social Media”B… is for Bath
OK. I admit it. One of MY favorite times are our evenings together. We’ve developed a bit of a ritual? pattern? Whatever. Something we really love doing on several nights a week.
First, it’s the baths. As often as possible, I draw the bath, put in the fizzy doo-dad, get her settled. I bring in the kindle, water, phone and make sure other things happen that help wrap up the day around the house while she’s chilling in the tub.
Continue reading “B… is for Bath”Review: The Handy
This was a product to test out and review. We noticed this on another site and Charmer decided we needed to get one of our own, test it out, see what it’s all about.

This is one of my favorite bras. It is actually red, but the details seem to pop out a bit more when it is b/w.
Continue reading “D is for (It’s All in the) Details”T is for Time Warp
I imagine most everyone has a memory of their first time watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Some younger than others, but it almost feels like a rite of passage.
Continue reading “T is for Time Warp”I is for Introvert
I am an introvert. Technically, we both are, although Snake tolerates noise and extroverts much better than I do.
Continue reading “I is for Introvert”L is for Libido
I’m an all or nothing kind of person. I don’t know if it is astrology (Scorpio), autism, wanting my own way or all of the above.
Continue reading “L is for Libido”D is for Date Night
As things slowly start to open back up here, we are getting to go out to some of our favorite places again.
Continue reading “D is for Date Night”S is for Shhhh
The barbeque was in full swing when I beckoned you over. The yard of our neighbor was filled with dozens of people enjoying one last outing before the heat really hit.
Continue reading “S is for Shhhh”C is for Cleavage
Same tub from last week, but this is another one that we took while we were at the hotel for our anniversary. Just a wee bit of cleavage showing…
Continue reading “C is for Cleavage”W is for Warm (Bottom That Is)
I think that I might have alluded to a few “gifts” from Snake that we were going to use last week for our twice a month kink night.
Continue reading “W is for Warm (Bottom That Is)”C is for Courage
I don’t tend to think of myself as a terribly courageous person. Not in a self-deprecating way, but more just as a I just do what I need to do and move on.
Continue reading “C is for Courage”Jett: Review Part Deux
I previously wrote about the Jett as a toy that is both powerful and different. (You can read the review here) – in short, it was really great and, aside from a “yeah, don’t do that” type of bruise, it truly was one of the first “for penises” toy I’d used that wasn’t just a modified vibrator.
Very cool.
But.

When the temperatures start staying in the mid 80s and up, I start doing my daily check of the pool temperature.
Continue reading “I is for Impatience”H is for (the) Hunt
I hadn’t actually been planning a sequel, but I got several requests for a continuation so here it is. Part 1 is here.
You open the envelope and a piece of paper slides out. On it is a picture of a specific bottle of wine and the telltale lip kiss.
Continue reading “H is for (the) Hunt”T is for Toes
On our little getaway a couple of weeks ago, we took quite a few pictures in the room–doesn’t everyone? This is an edit that just shows a little bit of my bright red nail polish…
Continue reading “T is for Toes”T is for Trouble
I don’t really have any music that I head to when I’m sad or upset. I tend to only listen to music when I’m happy.
