You know how they do fishing – where they cast a net, let it sink around the fish, trapping them, then pull it in to reveal the catch of the day?

Charmer likes to find new and very cool ways to point out the scenery. One of my favorite, is the fishnet pointer system..

It’s always amazing to me to step back, try to stay in that exact moment, just after. Maybe I’m odd. But in all of the frenzy of life, in all of the ins and outs of life, relationships, the noise… I find more and more that I focus on trying to stay present in important moments.

After a day and night out on the town, it was so nice to kick back, enjoy the buzz and the lights and all that makes up the town. You casually slip to the restroom and I turn to take in the lights and sights of the town below. From 37 floors up, it’s simply amazing.

You can have the craziest of weeks, then boom! A book, some good space, some fun time to set aside to read and chill … and things take on an all new light.

I”ve been learning more about cooking and having a great time with it. It’s been a great time learning about different ways to cook, different things to make, all of that. I’m no expert at it, and learning at about 100 miles an hour whenever I can. But I’ve also been able to take over on a few meals a week.

Today is one of those. Charmer is deciding to both help, and keep me motivated. Or distracted. Or motivationally distracted. Or Stinging. Or …
