Bawdy Bells 5 — Lies?

The Christmas piece of this prompt never really applied to me. Yes, we put out cookies and milk for Santa and got a gift on Christmas morning. And, yes, I was told when I questioned if he was “real,” that only kids who believe got gifts from him. But, it was always more of an embodiment of the magic of Christmas rather than a person so it never felt deceitful to me.

Choose Freedom

Freedom is one of those words that seem to have as many meanings as there are people in the world. I think each one of us has our own definition and how it fits into our life.

Absolute freedom doesn’t really exist in my view. There are always things that impede on that even if you are alone. Eating is kind of important to me and I like indoor plumbing. That said, I decided to focus on freedom as it applies more to our blog.

Sit back, relax, show me

This is going to be a little bit of a different approach,” she says, sitting me down in the chair. She kneels on the floor in front of me, then spins slightly to grab a glass of wine off the table and turn back toward me.

I smile, then frown exaggeratedly when I realize the wine is for her, not me. “Silly. This is for me. I’m going to enjoy this.” She sips the wine again, then looks at me. Without breaking the look, she tells me what’s up, finally.

Edge For Me

It’s just a normal Sunday night. We’ve done our workouts, had some dinner, watched some TV and now it is bath time. As usual, you start the water, put in the bath bomb, get my water and phone and Kindle and strip naked to wait for me.

Frigid Can Be Fun…

As I knock my boots clear of the snow and wetness that seems to have completely saturated them, caking on to them, almost sneaking into all of the cracks and crevices, we look at each other and sneer first, then full on laugh, almost falling over.

You’re not really supposed to do THAT trail with the tubes, but hey, it wasn’t outright forbidden, we’d just endured a lot of whistling on the way down the hill, and not of the encouraging kind. But man o man. The adrenaline rush was undeniable.

Of Safewords and Overload

Safewords are a funny thing. Pretty regularly you’ll see “It’s ok to safeword” on twitter, blogs and all of the places we collectively go to read, write and interact. This is critical, important, and something too many people consider leaving out of a D/s or kink scene. Beforehand, it’s easy to be swept up in the draw of a scene, or a relationship, or both.

But, in the heat of the moment, that’s NOT the time to be calling out “zucchini fries!!!!” at the top of your lungs, thinking it’s your safeword. Get that stuff established at the onset.
