Needs. Wants. How to figure out which is which and even more important, how to balance it all.

I wish I had a good answer on how I do it. I don’t think that I do it all that well at times. I think that I confuse my own wants and needs quite often. I might think it’s a need, but is it? Or do I just want it so much that I think that I need it?

Bawdy Bells 5 — Lies?

The Christmas piece of this prompt never really applied to me. Yes, we put out cookies and milk for Santa and got a gift on Christmas morning. And, yes, I was told when I questioned if he was “real,” that only kids who believe got gifts from him. But, it was always more of an embodiment of the magic of Christmas rather than a person so it never felt deceitful to me.

A Wrinkle in Time

*This was originally posted in December for Food 4 Thought but it fits in well with the current Book Matters. And it is a fabulous children’s book!*

I was so excited to see this prompt because I am a reader. I rarely leave the house without my Kindle and bath time is always spent reading. And it’s a great day when I can slip some time in during the day as well.
