We were wandering in a nearby town. It was a perfect day to window shop and grab lunch at an outdoor café.
At the second-hand shop we had been giggling at the silly items and the owner was giving us dirty looks. It was time to move on.
Next was an old bookstore. It looked like it belonged in an old movie with shelves everywhere. A spiral staircase up the center was the focal point. I just had to climb it.
You stood at the bottom, looked up and let out a gasp.
“What? It was too hot for underwear.”
These stairs are not for those who are too hot.
