Shall We Play A Game?

As you may (or may not) know, Charmer loves to integrate games into… activities.  She tends (tends?) to create rules around those games that just may favor her a bit.  Maybe.

If you haven’t seen it, you can check out multiple renditions of the @^#@#^@ scrabble-esque games she’s done in the past.  There’s something about making up words (sometimes with rules around the words) in the heat of the moment that just gets to me nearly every time.  Oh, and I *suck* at scrabble.  There’s that too.  So she gleefully rolls out the tiles and shakes the bag.  I know I’m in trouble.   (Here’s a link to different scrabble posts)

But this time, as is often the case with Charmer, things changed.  [SSC:  It’s part of my charm….get it?] This time, it’s my other nemesis, Trivial Pursuit.  Ever wonder how you can change that into a game of orgasm control?  Yeah.  Me too.

The gist of it was that I had to earn six pie pieces in 1 week in order to be eligible for release.  [SSC:  Not just any six.  All  of the categories just like the real game.] Now, anytime there’s no indication of what that means, you have to stick in the back of your head that all may not be what it seems.  I’ll get to that in a ‘sec.

The additional thing was that if I missed a question, there would be a task (had to clean our back french door glass inside and out… nekkid, edging for her, impact play, etc.) or anything else she wanted to associate.  If I got one right (ha!) I’d have some 15-minute options of time with her.

So, off we go.  Every night for a week.  I failed miserably for the entire first couple of days.  Wine regions in France, old movies, all of that.  Yep.  Blew it.  [SSC:  To be fair, he knew the answers but spent too much time expecting a twist that he talked himself out of the right answer.] Then she added a new option.  I could “buy” another go at the questions.  The first time it was impact play.  Number of hits.  5 for the first new piece.  10 for the second… And it’s each time.  So, miss and you pay before you can try again.  Finally, I hit some questions I knew and ended up both red-ended and with a few pie pieces.  But only one day to go.

So, last night.  She took pity, in a way.  I missed an initial question, so I had to stand before her and she did whatever she wanted.  Now, sure, it was nice.  I’m not going to lie, but she didn’t edge.  [SSC:  It wasn’t supposed to be fun…. it was a penalty for missing the question.  Welllllll….it was fun for me.] She only did enough to make it start to be nice, then stopped.  It was all about frustration and humiliation of standing there, “presenting myself.”

Somehow I managed to get the three pie pieces.  I think she took pity on me.  But of course, there’s always a twist.  I had to kneel before her and she just kind of matter of factly kept going with her frustration work and pushed over the top.  Yes, it was really great, but it’s never just what you expect.  It’s always some twist to make it what she wants.

I do love that about her.

We’re off to a modified version of the game (new rules) and while I’m determined to take advantage, the stakes have changed, the rules are different, and I suspect the costs are higher if additional tries are offered. [SSC:  He neglected to mention that writing this post was the first penalty of the new game. :)]

But it’ll be worth it.

  1. I love games but Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit are not my strong suit either.
I have also found I usually get myself further int trouble trying to negotiate a bargain. They never end up the way I planned. 🙂
    Enjoyed reading this. Thanks.
